Connecting Shopify to Conversific

Conversific can connect to Shopify easily. Fill the mandatory fields first.

  • Store name: Any name, that is descriptive enough for you to know, which store it is. (If you have multiple stores connected to one Conversific account, it's important for you to always know which store's data you are monitoring.)
  • Industry: The most suitable category your shop can be sorted to. (We give compare your shop's performance with other shops' in the same industry)

Next, you can connect your Google Analytics account. You don't have to do it immediately, you can also connect it later, the choice is yours. Either way, you can find more information about the connection in THIS article.

On the next page, we will connect to your store. Fill the fields.

  • Store Type: The webshop platform you are using. (Since you are reading this article, it should be Shopify)
  • Store domain: Here we'll need the registered name of the shop. In my case it will be conversificteststore. If you are not sure about the name, you can check it the following ways:
  • When you are on your admin page of your Shopify store, just check out the URL.
  • Or in the top right corner click on your name, then click Your account. In the "Stores, programs, and resources" section, you will see your stores, with its Shopify URL.

Next, you will have to log in to your Shopify account if you haven't done that yet.

After you logged into your Shopify account, just click on 'install app' and the software automatically starts the process.

The only thing left in the connection process is to set a yearly revenue goal. If you need some time to do some planning and calculations, click the "Set later" button. You can keep track, and change your goals any time in your Sales report.

Yeeess! You have connected your Store successfully!

After a successful connection you will be greeted by a loading bar indicating the state of your data's download. It can take longer(even a few hours) if you have lots of data from the past.

Important note: Conversific doesn't only provide you information from the moment you installed the app. We download all of your data from the past, so you can start analyzing right away.

Disconnecting / reconnecting an already connected store

If you feel the need to refresh your connection or a lovely person from our Support team asks you to reconnect your store, here's how to do that:

Click on the circular icon in the bottom left corner and click on Store then go to Data sources

Click on the Shopify bracket, and choose "Disconnect". Confirm your decision on the pop up.

Click on Connect now next to Shopify, and fill out the bracket with the name of your store. If you are not sure about the name, you can check it the following ways:

  • When you are on your admin page of your Shopify store, just check out the URL.
  • Or in the top right corner click on your name, then click Your account. In the "Stores, programs, and resources" section, you will see your stores, with its Shopify URL.

If you are done, just click Save

When you click Save, you need to login to your Shopify account, and approve the installation, just as you did the first time when you connected your shop.

When done, the Shopify will be marked as connected, and the download of your data will begin.
